Pasajes is located in the extreme north west of Spain, next to San Sebastian and just a few miles from the Spanish-French border. It’s on the Atlantic Ocean coast, in the Bay of Biscay.

1. Malkorbe Beach
The fine golden sand beach is 450 meters (0.3 miles) long and 75 meters (246 feet) wide. The beach offers facilities like parking, campsite, kiosks, restaurants, showers, changing rooms, first-aid point, toilets, telephone, disabled access, playground and water sports rentals.
2. Gaztetape Beach
The 250m (0.15 miles) long golden sand beach is ideal for windsurfing, canoeing and recreational angling.
It also offers other amenities like car park, security service, toilets, showers, boardwalk, disabled access, and so on. This beach can be accessed by car or public transport.
3. Santiago Beach
There is a wall bordering the Urola River, which ends near the lighthouse, and it offers magnificent views. There is also a wonderful green zone near the beach.
4. Hondarribia Beach
The golden sand beach has very calm waters with hardly any current and is perfect for swimming. There is a swimming club on the beach, where swimming classes are given.
The Hondarribia Beach is disabled friendly as well.
5. Zarautz Beach
This beach is located in Zarautz, and it is 2.5 km (1.5 miles) long and 80 meters (260 feet) wide.
The fine golden sand beach is the largest in Gipuzkoa region. The beach promenade offers several excellent viewing points.
The beach is ideal for windsurfing and also other sports activities. The lively Zarautz Beach has bars and restaurants, and it is easily accessible.
6. Playa de la Concha (Concha Beach)
But the beach is extremely quiet in the mornings and evenings, and during this time you can enjoy the beach in peace. Apart from the breathtaking scenery, it offers warm water, soft rolling waves and plenty of places to eat.
7. Playa de la Zurriola (Zurriola Beach)
There are free beach volleyball courts and the water is perfect for surfing. The beach also has lifeguard service. It’s a less crowded beach than others in San Sebastian area.
Nature was generous to Pasajes as it’s located in the Gipuzkoa region which has many fine sandy beaches.
Its famous neighbor San Sebastian draws most of the crowds so you can choose the more peaceful beaches if you prefer in less frequented areas.
